Spicy Caribbean Cabbage Stir fry

Ingredients:

Head of cabbage

Onions

Garlic

Carrots, squash, red or yellow peppers

Fresh corn (optional)

Vegetable broth

Olive oil or vegetable oil

Braggs amino acids

Ms. Dash Caribbean jerk spice

Other spices as desired

Black pepper

Bone sucking sauce (mild)

 

Directions

Cut all vegetables and put aside.

Warm oil into large skillet or pot

Put onions, garlic in and saute' until slightly cooked

Start adding veggies, with cabbage being last

Add vegetable broth to cover veggies but not drown

Stir frequently, to mix cabbage with veggies.

Add rest of spices, pepper etc.

Turn heat to medium low, to let flavors mix.

Add Braggs to taste (has a soy sauce taste)

Add Bone sucking sauce to taste or color (a little goes a long way)

Reduce heat, keep stirring, add more broth if needed

Add cooked meat if desired to marinate in the sauce

 

Serve now or later. Freezes well and great leftovers with brown rice, sweet potatoes, or any side dish.

Ultimate Breakfast Smoothie

 

Whole Food Protein Shake

 

1 serving- 5 minutes Prep time

 

Ingredients:

1 handful of fresh spinach

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1/2 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

1 tablespoon Organic almond butter

4 –6 oz unsweetened Hemp or Almond milk

1/2 large ripe, frozen or unfrozen banana

1/2 tablespoon coconut butter (optional)

Water to achieve desired consistency

 

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend on high until smooth. Add enough water so that the smoothie is drinkable but still thick (about an inch or 2 above the contents line)

Options: Add 1/4 cup raw nuts and seeds of your choice (walnuts, pumpkins seeds, sunflower seeds).

Frozen ripe bananas make the smoothie thicker and frostier. You choose which version you like…
